Promotional Packaging

In this project, we were asked to design a new packaging for the famous Mcdonald's Happy meal box, we had to come up with a new/creative idea, and execute it through design on the happy meal box.

I had the idea of making it revolve around the cartoon character Popeye, this character is famous for getting stronger when eating spinach, I want to make a relation between eating and getting stronger and bigger and the happy meal box, I thought this is going to make kids want to buy the Mcdonald's happy meal.

So I went ahead and make an illustration of the cartoon character (Popeye), then typed one is his most famous quotes on the box but tweaked it by adding the phrase happy meal to it, so it is relevant to the content of the box.
