After taking notes and going through the lectures, we were asked to choose two methods to collect data, below you can see the interview request templates that our lecturer provided.

To do this week : for everybody
a Propose two methods of primary research for your research problem.
b Have a brief definition of each method, supported by citations.
c Provide justification for each method, explaining how each is relevant to your study.
d Consider the pros and cons of each method and lay them out.

Specific feedback
- the subtitles is a good Idea for the transcription from the online video interviews.
- you can copy a method from a research article that you have read, be sure to include the citations.
- Always refer to the research questions and the objectives so you can stay on track.
Week 10
-explain more (cultures) why did you choose Malaysians and Algerians?.
-be specific on common websites and justify.
-cite all of them, the research that you have read.
-say how each question is related to the research.
-who are the participants, the group members.
-explain why you did the translation from English to French by yourself
-why do you want Algerian answers
-why Algeria and Malaysia ?
-can you write all of the objectives in a paragraph form instead of a list form
-include citations in the objective section
-how did you identify these categories(age categories) use research citations
-"I am currently a" instead of "what do you do for living".
-what are the ranges of time of surfing the web
-why did you give these choices? most famous websites
-please number your questions
-change the question to be what are the visual elements.
-how is color important for you when viewing a website?
-do colors affect your mood while browsing, and give a list of choices.
-consider having interviews it is suitable for your research questions
-update in few days before posting the survey.
Week 11
- add more description to the graphs.
- according to source why did you choose the website?
- add more studies with 3 or 4 years back.
- justify why did you chose those three apps?
- what makes u narrow down the apps from question number 4
- which are the elements are u attracted the most from the previous answer (rewriting the question)
- I should give them options on color schemes questions.
- put your questions in google form so you preview the survey and it will be easier to lay them out.
- do research about colors why did u choose those colors
- choose something else other than WhatsApp and Facebook
- choose another website that has combination of colors (Color scheme)
- what are the websites that you like.
- you can put images of websites in the survey to make it easier for the public
Week 12
- move the collected data under each method respectively
- just focus on analyzing data for this week
- after analyzing the data compile it into one file for the last assignments.
- you can do other interviews in the holidays
- Choose four apps/websites to study foe next semester
- Keep the first question in your proposal and try to answer it in the next semester with research
- you may do interviews in the holidays which are relevant to your topic
- categorize the websites that you are studying, pick for example communication apps.
